Today is worth noting…

A Care Group celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival became a swimming session for me. After a time of CG and fellowship, we had an awesome refreshment near the BBQ area (which is also near the pool), with tang longs and mooncakes and green tea and hotdogs and nice stuff.

To cut a long story short, the 3 women who gave me fishes yesterday (Amy, MIna and Siew Leng) dragged me like a suspended pig and dropped me into the pool… It was never unsuspecting. I just lost to physical strength of 3 sisters.

Wet…. So refreshing. Of course fun isn’t meant to be enjoyed alone. Unable to pull Siew Leng in, I got Mina splashing wet. As well as her handphone… I’m sorry to get her hp wet, but I’m not sorry to get her wet ;-p

Then ’so keng’ ar… I got a gift! After being told to gently unwarpped the nice parcel, I realize it’s my own clothes inside. To change my wet clothes on my back. Since when they sneaked in my room and got a FULL SET of my clothes, up and down, inside out? Yesterday, with the help of my cute roomie, AI Tee.

What a night… I am simply blessed to have you guys. All of you CG people and all the September+October babies. God rocks! Praise Jesus.

Updates

I was about to type my announcement that 9 original fishes in my tank now had an extended family!

9 + 9 Guppies + 1 Ballack (from Amy) = 19 fishies! So happening! Woon Ling helped me catching and cleaning the tank. Ai Tee mentioned that I need a rubbish fish to vacuum the fish tahi.

Then …. ‘ALAXISSSSSSSS’ a shout from the door! It’s Mina’s voice. I unlocked the door, she came in and stood in the middle on the living room. I looked at her, weird. Mina Sopo wasn’t hiding her smile at all, but was hiding something behind her back.

Ta-Dah !!! She produced a clear plastic bag with water and a…. black and white mutant little fish with a big tummy. Woh!! Here comes another member to my tank family. Mina called it ‘Chao Chao - Hodoh2′.

Before long, in march Siew Kiaw with another plastic bag with water and a bright orange fish. That’s the sharpest fish in the tank now, pretty indeed! It’s named after Kiaw Kiaw - ‘Jiao Jiao’.

O gosh, I was thinking I have a heavy responsiblity to keep them all alive, plus the loving from Amy’s. Then surprise, Hong Siew Leng marched in with yet another plastic bag filled with water and …. a LAP SAP yu! The biggest member of all now. Said them ‘The ugliest one, called ‘Leng leng!’

Far from over, the excitement continues when Mina produced an…. oxygen pump! These girls can really go and find needs then meet them. Wohoo, a new furniture for the home of the fishies! 26_sept_06  Fish_3

Now, they are all swimming actively.

What a delightful event…. 13 new members in the same day. Thank you gals. After setting up,we spent some time looking at the fishies and tank. Long enough, dear Ai Tee said ‘Don’t stare too long, you’ll get Azheimer…’

…. Guess what

Truly love and appreciate my brothers.

To the bulky brother, Pem-buli who injured my finger (know u reading this), you’re quite a nice brother…. Miss you already. May you be well in London. God watches over you.

To my skinny brother with a nice temper, I got so much I can learn from you. Always enjoyed bringing you out for makan. Hope you always ‘hoi hoi sam sam’ and talk to Jesus like a friend. ;-)

Thank you both for putting up with me, helping me to play games, fighting with me, etc etc. Realized that we all had started to go our own ways in our own lives, seldom meet u boys d. Always in my prayers…
