BanGKok

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

So I finally obtained a passport chop from Thailand last Thursday. With my family except Pokok. (Anyway, Pokok is coming back this June, so we’re pretty delighted).

Been planning to blog my Bangkok trip for a while, but was so busy these few days. Will continue to be until this Saturday arrives and go… Then, I might forget everything about Bangkok.

3 days not enough, at all… These are some places we went to. Golden Palace (A super huge Buddhist temple), Suan Lam Night market, 4 Face, Chao Phraya (dirty) river cruise, Wat …?…, Oishi splendid japanese restaurant, Weekend Market, China Town, Blooming Spa Thai Massage.

Nice experience. Thais are friendly and courteous. They can double park, lock their cars but not their hand brakes, and allow people to push their cars. They always ‘Sawasdee ka’ and put both palms together.

Thailand fruits!!!!!!!! Man, never seen durian as big as my car steering wheel! Jambu air also so big. Every fruit is so sweet, that I felt that the land is so blessed. But the downfall is… Thai’s traffice jam is worse than KL.

Our family friend took us to Oishi the first night and Blooming Spa the second. Oishi is really super, not exaggerating but not planning to explain it here, Oishi is nothing like any of Malaysian’s Japanese restaurant.  Thai massage at Blooming Spa… there are 3 phrases that can sum it up. 1) She’s breaking my tendons 2) I can’t breathe 3) Very relaxing and great experience!! Although I can fall asleep in 5 minutes upon entering their place, I can also hear my backdone cracking. I was having my prayer meeting then.

Yikes… class.
